RE-ADVERTISEMENT OF
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The National
Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has made some changes with regard to the vacancy
announcement for working with The Verbal and Social Autopsy Study (VASA)
published on 18th September, 2017 and the closing date for receiving
applications was September 26th, 2017
The reason for
the changes is that NBS has received new recommendations from the VASA project
team, that survey respondents are only women and the information to be
collected from them is sensitive; the interviews should therefore be conducted
by women interviewers. Therefore men
should not apply for these posts.
In this view,
NBS invites more applications from dynamic and result-oriented Tanzanian women
citizens who wish to work in The Verbal
and Social Autopsy Study (VASA) which will be conducted by NBS in all
regions of Tanzania Mainland. Those female applicants who previously applied
need not to apply again.
