Regional Sales Manager, South (Grade 10)

JOB PURPOSE

Ensure achievement of sales objectives in this region and correct implementation of company strategy through effective coordination of distribution and activations to achieving above target revenue growth.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Attain sales objectives as set in monthly KPI's and budget.
Coordinate direct sales team in order to achieve objectives by applying approved procedures.
Ensure correct implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
Ensure effective training is given to assigned teams to perform effectively and competently.
Actively seek innovative means to capturing new customers and retaining existing customers.
Review and analyze daily and weekly sales reports of areas of assigned activators, distributors within region.
Make periodic visits to assigned zonal territories, to ensure effective implementation of the company’s sales strategy.
Follow up to ensure that assigned targets of distributor and sales supervisor by product are met.
Generate necessary reports to assist payment of monthly commissions.
Attend to customer queries at points of sale.
Achieve Monthly gross activation targets
Achieve Monthly revenue targets.
Ensure stock points are effectively utilized as per purchase targets set.
Directly manage distribution coordinators and activation coordinators.
Monitor and audit dealer's sales activities.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
3+ years of experience in sales management.
University degree in marketing/ business administration or related areas.

Project Manager - Data (Grade 12)

Job Description:
·        Manage, develop and control multiple projects in parallel from initiation to closure
·        Create project charters for all Commercial projects assigned to him/her in coordination with all stakeholders
·        Clearly communicates tasks  and expected deliverables to team members and stakeholders
·        Collaborate in drafting and negotiate contracts/agreements/exhibits in collaboration with procurement team
·        Develop and create project plan through Microsoft Projects professional and track their KPI through Enterprise Project Management tool (EPM)
·        Lead project meetings, conference calls, and other communications, both internal and external, including weekly update calls and high-level project management committee meetings.
·        Ensure and conduct unit testing, integrate testing, stress testing and user acceptance testing.
·        Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved by pertinent staff with appropriate documentation system
·        Track and report on time contributions of commercial project
·        Coordinate budget documentation to all projects assigned to him/her
·        Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project life cycle
·        Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution
·        Monitor project expenditures against proposed budget and schedule/deliverables
·        Provide support for projects and products after project launch on need basis

The Project Manager will report to the Category Development Manager.
Targets/KPIs
·        Timely delivery of commercial projects
·        Timely update of progress of projects in EPM
·        Delivery of projects within budgeted costs

Expected knowledge and competencies
·        Microsoft Project and other Project Management tools (i.e. EPM) (Advance level required)
·        Communication and people skills: experience in managing small teams and good communication both downwards and upwards within the organization (Advanced level required)
·        Quality Assurance: experience in designing test plans of products  (Basic level required)
·        Financial modelling: good understanding of modelling of costs and revenues associated to offers, and comparison of the target groups with control groups (Intermediate level required)
·        Mobile telecoms: good understanding of the mobile business, the main products and services, revenue streams, tariffs and offers, etc. (Intermediate level required)
·        Positive and proactive attitude
·        Problem solving
·        English (fluent)

Qualification
Desirable experience: 3-5 years’ experience in Project Management (or commercial experience, 1+ years in telecoms, with a strong interest in the commercial side of the business
Desirable education: university degree in Project Management, Mathematics, Physics (or alternatively Engineering or Business Administration with the aforementioned business experience)  ​
PMP Certification is a plus
