Our client is looking for social behaviour change and communication officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will work with Local Government authorities, Civil Society Organization (CSOs) and Community based implementing partners and Community Health Workers (CHWs) to implement the strategies in line with the project strategic plan
JOB DESCRIPTION
Mobilize social and political support at all levels to create and sustain an enabling environment for the delivery of targeted interventions including SBCC communications campaigns
Support implementers and grantees to deliver high-quality SBCC programs that drives service uptake and a supportive environment for healthy behaviors
Work collaboratively with project implementing partners to provide strategic input into the development of communication strategies and campaigns for targeted, focused, and culturally and contextually well-tailored SBCC initiatives for specific areas of HIV, family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH), malaria, Maternal Newborn and Child Health (MNCH), and Tuberculosis (TB).
Support advocacy, communication, and social mobilization at district, and community level and create strong linkages between community and service delivery activities
Support implementation of advocacy, media and social mobilization (including IPC) activities at district, and community level by partners and LGAs.
Ensures the timely and quality completion of technical deliverables and reports in accordance with guidelines.

Education Level Degree
Qualifications Degree in health communications, sociology, public health
Software Ms tools
Equipment Industry related
Knowledge Of in health education and behavioral change communication
Skills To developing and implementing a behavioral change communication strategy
Ability To Create demand for community and facility-based health services
Personality Hard working, good team player,
Other Proven experience in implementing at least two health projects that include a strong behavior change communication component.
